Joshua advances Free Press’ policy agenda through a strategic mix of legislative, regulatory and legal advocacy. He is an experienced public-interest advocate and attorney who has fought in the policy trenches to preserve Net Neutrality, close the digital divide and protect consumers from harmful mergers. Before joining Free Press, Joshua was a deputy director of the Open Technology Institute, a law clerk to Sen. Al Franken and a legislative aide to Rep. Betty McCollum. He began his career as a journalist at Congressional Quarterly. He is a graduate of New York University School of Law and George Washington University.
